DesiPustaka.com came about when we could not find good books about India's rich history, civilisation, culture and religion for our two daughters in the UK.
As children in India, we were surrounded by books like Amar Chitra Katha, Champak and Paico Classics.
We wanted to introduce our children to our Gods and Goddesses, and the great Ithihaasas like Ramayan and Mahabharata, but struggled to find such books in the UK. Thus DesiPustaka.com was born to source such books from India and make it easily available in the UK.
